The Meeting Pods at The Campus, Cherrywood form part of a wider suite of biophilic interventions that elevate the public realm and enrich daily life within the business park. Positioned within the tree canopy and overlooking the lake, the pods offer intimate spaces for meetings, workshops and informal collaboration. Their setting fosters wellbeing, attentiveness and a closer connection to nature, extending the workplace beyond the conventional office floor.
Renewable energy and circular design principles underpin the project. Each pod operates as a micro-generation station through integrated solar and wind systems with on-site battery storage. Surplus energy is fed back into the external lighting network, demonstrating how workplace amenities can contribute to a broader sustainability agenda. Insulated floors, natural cross-ventilation and a lightweight, elevated structural profile reinforce this environmental focus while reducing impact on the ground.
The pods are located adjacent to the Cherrywood Canopy and Biophilic Sunken Garden, together forming a landscape-supported cluster of social and reflective spaces that encourage interaction and outdoor use throughout the year. Designed as part of a comprehensive campus strategy, the Meeting Pods show how renewable energy systems, nature-based design and tenant amenities can be thoughtfully integrated to create a contemporary workplace landscape that supports innovation, wellbeing and everyday culture.
