Stripe One Wilton Park

The adaptation of Stripe’s workplace at One Wilton Park is defined by a careful balance of retention and transformation, responding to evolving workplace needs while maximising the value of the existing building fabric. The project builds on a robust architectural and services framework, selectively reworking key spaces to align with Stripe’s culture, operational requirements and brand identity.

A strategy of reuse underpins the design approach, with much of the existing layout, furniture and joinery retained and repurposed. This targeted intervention reduces material waste and programme duration, while allowing focus on areas of highest impact. The result is a sustainable and considered workplace that enhances performance without unnecessary reconstruction.

The arrival experience is redefined through a softer, more informal reception, drawing on residential cues to create a welcoming and human-centred environment. Natural materials, layered lighting and integrated planting introduce warmth and texture, establishing a distinct sense of identity. Elsewhere, a series of tailored interventions support a variety of working modes, including a dedicated library and quiet workspace with bespoke shelving and integrated seating. A reimagined café, inspired by Stripe’s San Francisco roots, provides a social anchor within the office.
